Justin Moffatt

Justin, Laurel and their three kids moved last year from East Village in Manhattan to the CBD of Sydney: from New York to York Street. Justin is the Senior Minister of St Philip’s Anglican. He trained for ministry at Moore Theological College in Sydney, and has worked at Newcastle University, St Ives Anglican, Christ Church NYC. His Apartment in the CBD of Sydney means that he lives and breathes ‘working life’ each day. Justin will be the main speaker for the weekend.

Steve Chong is married to the beautiful Naomi and is father to two gorgeous boys, Reuben & Jacob. He is the lead pastor at Kirkplace (a presbyterian church in Kogarah) and he is the director of the RICE movement. He loves this city and prays that God might renew and mobilise the church so that we see might see revival as people respond to the news that Jesus is Lord. Perhaps his greatest passion in ministry is seeing people use their God-given gifts to serve Jesus with all their heart and so he is particularly excited about the upcoming Surge conference and hopes you’ll come along! Steve will be leading a session for all first-timers to the conference on the Saturday morning.
